CALPAK Astyll: Review

CALPAK Astyll in Milk-Marble

So I FINALLY got my hands on the CALPAK Astyll Milk-Marble Carry On and I am so in love. I have been coveting this luggage for a solid 6 months and every time I got the nerve to pull the trigger and purchase, surprise surprise CALPAK was completely sold out...for months..

Now that I have my finally have my own, here are the deets on the luggage that has me completely obsessing:

  • The Astyll come in 2 color schemes (Milk Marble & Petals) and 3 sizes (20"Carry-On, 24" Medium, and 28" Large) with the carry-on obviously being a fan favorite
  • The case is hard sided which ensures your new purchases will not be damaged in flight
  • 8 multidirectional spinners make for easy weaving through airport crowds (I'm a really aggressive airport walker, shoot the gaps or be left to find the gate on your own)
  • a LONG retractable handle (at 6'4" this is so crucial, suitcases nipping your heels HURT) that glides smoothy from an erect to retracted position
  • fully lined navy interior with expandable sides to cram all the fabulous ish you bought on vacation into the case with ease, did I mention its width it expandable by up to 2"? DISCLAIMER: There is no such thing as overpacking if your suitcase gets bigger aka TREAT YO' SELF to all daaaaaaaa sh*t on vacation and have extra room in your fabulous new case.
  • After checking this case, I can attest to its smooth texture not showing many visible scuffs (who new marble was THE perfect print to conceal shipping scuffs?)
While this luggage is not only extremely efficient in terms of travel, it also looks beautiful on a jetway or in your closet. Created by Los Angeles based travel company: CalPak, The Astyll in Milk Marble is the perfect junction to meet fashion and function. This should be a staple in any chic travel enthusiasts luggage collection.

Any one who knows me can attest to the fact that I love all things Carrara marble. It exudes a certain look of polish, luxury, and edge, that I cannot get enough of in all things accessories and home decor. What more could you need for inexplicably fabulous travel?
